I’m not a business or finance coach, I’m a getting sh*t done guy. Using my extensive experience with the Simple Numbers financial framework and the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), I provide the outside perspective you need. In four weeks. I concentrate on the following areas:

Cost of Goods Sold

COGS are often highly opaque, making it very difficult to attribute where your money is going. I will justify every expenditure (or recommend killing it).

Operating Expenses

You need someone unafraid to go looking for unnecessary spending. I will find efficiencies you didn’t think possible, making your operations leaner and more profitable.

Labor Costs

Your largest expense is a political and emotional minefield. You need an outsider who can provide the empiric perspective of what you’re paying and what you’re getting for it.

Chances are, you know these changes are long overdue. You don’t have the energy or bandwidth to tackle them, and your people either aren’t senior enough to handle such a huge project, or they don’t want to risk their jobs by volunteering for it.

You need someone who doesn’t need managing, who doesn’t need motivating, and who has what it takes to think deeply to confidently define the path forward.

  • A comprehensive strategy for reducing your expenses by at least 10%, which comes with:

    • A full financial analysis with competitor comparison.

    • A complete guide to your expenses — what’s being spent where and why.

    • An illustration of what your organization will look like after the strategy has been fully implemented, including an updated accountability chart.

    • An adjusted salary cap that makes sense with your management capabilities.

    • A recommended reorganization with a recipe for how to achieve it.

  • Week One will focus on studying the financials to spot the patterns and inefficiencies at play. Ahead of the engagement I’ll gather the materials and access I’ll need to dig into the historical data.

    Week two will paint a full picture of the ins and outs of the business. Including interviews with staff and clients to qualify the quantitative data with qualitative insight.

    Week Three will surface the true story of the organization. And write the narrative of the future we’ll be creating.

    Week Four I’ll present the full diagnostic week four, including the full playbook for how to make real the theory outlined in our documentation.

  • My goal is to deliver a plan that’s realistic. We’ll spend one hour each week together to incorporate feedback and make sure the strategy is something we cosign.

  • If your revenue were $1.5mm annually, a 10% OPEX saving would be $150,000.

    If I can’t save you 10%, you don’t pay my $10,000 fee.

  • I don’t have to, but I can. I’ve spent years building a reputation as the guy who get’s sh*t done. You can take the results of my work and mandate your team to realize it. Or I can help keep your team accountable after the initial four weeks are up. Either way, my goal is to define a realistic strategy to get you through the next year more affordably, more easily.
